MISSION AND HISTORY
Our Mission:
To assist and inspire homeless youth with the hope that they will build self-sufficient lives; to provide a warm, family style environment for Casper youth ages sixteen to nineteen.
What We Do:
We will house eight homeless teenagers. Our goal is to impart strategies and life skills that will aid them in areas including but not limited to: establishing a routine/daily schedule, cooking, cleaning, daily chores, laundry, and much more. Our facility will be a safe dwelling that our residents can call home. To facilitate a family environment, we will engage in activities that include but are not limited to: family dinners, movie nights, game nights, holiday celebrations and gift exchanges. Our goal is to assist our residents with their transitory journey into adulthood; moving on to college, trade school, military, job corps, or acquiring and maintaining a good job and a residence of their own.
During their time with us, our residents will enjoy a worry-free environment where basic needs are met. As opposed to worrying about the need for sustenance, our residents will handle the challenges that an average teenager would encounter. Focus will shift from a survive mentality to a thrive mentality.
